The Water Wars DLC brings cosmetic customization inspired by Arrakis' most powerful water cartel. This cosmetic pack expands your base-building and character personalization options with Water Shipper-themed aesthetics, allowing you to embody the ruthless dynasty that controls the planet's most precious resource.

Dune: Awakening is an open-world survival MMO where you navigate the harsh desert planet of Arrakis alongside hundreds of other players. The core gameplay loop centers on managing critical survival needs—hydration, temperature, and shelter—while exploring a vast, dynamic world that shifts with weekly coriolis storms. You'll gather resources, craft tools and weapons, establish fortified bases, and engage in both cooperative and competitive multiplayer encounters.

The game blends deep survival mechanics with skill-based third-person combat, faction-driven progression, and large-scale multiplayer systems. You manage stamina and hydration meters, research technologies, and unlock abilities tied to your chosen faction and character build. Base building is central to the experience, allowing you to construct shelters, defensive structures, and resource-gathering installations. The crafting system ties directly to progression, with recipes unlocked through exploration, questing, and skill advancement.

What sets Dune: Awakening apart is its unique server architecture, where hundreds of players flow seamlessly between different map regions while maintaining a persistent, ever-changing world. Unlike traditional MMOs, the game emphasizes optional PvP, allowing players to focus on PvE exploration and story content if they prefer. The setting draws inspiration from both Frank Herbert's novels and Denis Villeneuve's films, creating an immersive Arrakis that rewards both solo survival and faction-based cooperation.

The game appeals to survival enthusiasts familiar with titles like Conan Exiles, as well as MMO players seeking a more grounded, resource-management-focused experience. Whether you're scavenging the deep desert, defending your base, or engaging in large-scale faction conflicts, Dune: Awakening demands strategic thinking and environmental awareness. The Water Wars DLC completes the Season Pass, offering Water Shipper cosmetics for players who want to customize their presence on Arrakis.
