You've been hired to restock a mysterious dice shop, and thousands of colorful dice await your careful attention. In this cozy organizing game, your primary task is straightforward: pick up each die, examine its colors and materials, and sort them into complete seven-piece sets. Each set requires one of every classic polyhedral die—a percentile die, D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, and D20. With over 400 sets to complete and more than 2,800 individual dice to organize, there's plenty of work ahead.

The gameplay loop emphasizes relaxation and player agency. There are no timers, no rush, and no pressure to complete tasks quickly. In Story Mode, you simply progress to the next day once you've stocked the required value of dice, allowing you to work at your own pace while a cozy ambience and relaxing original soundtrack accompany every shift. Search every corner of the shop, plan your sets strategically, and take as much time as you need.

As you progress through your shifts, mysterious floppy disks begin to appear, unlocking strange new powers that make your work easier. These skills range from tracking down remaining dice needed to complete a set to pulling them directly into your hand. The game rewards exploration and persistence with mechanical upgrades that enhance your organizational efficiency.

What sets Dice Hoarder apart in the growing "sorting game" genre is its atmospheric depth. Beneath the satisfying click-clack of dice and the meditative task of organization lies a deeper mystery. The shop is hiding a secret, and those curious enough can slowly uncover it while they play. Warnings about the basement hint at something darker lurking beneath the surface, adding an intriguing narrative layer to the cozy gameplay.

Dice Hoarder appeals to players who enjoy relaxing, low-pressure experiences with satisfying mechanical feedback. Whether you're a casual gamer seeking a stress-free activity, a collector drawn to the dice aesthetic, or someone curious about narrative mysteries, the game offers something for everyone. With full controller support, Steam Achievements, and Steam Deck compatibility in development, it's designed to be accessible across different play styles and preferences.
