Cosplaying in Costalia: The Tororo Sisters is a visual novel that follows a photographer's unexpected journey into the world of cosplay. After losing a cherished collection of cosplay photographs in a camera accident, the protagonist receives an offer from sisters Yua and Sana Yamakake to become their cosplay models. What begins as a personal recovery project transforms into something far greater when the protagonist receives an invitation to Costalia, an island resort dedicated entirely to cosplay culture.

The game centers on the creative process of designing and crafting cosplay costumes, drawing on the protagonist's background as a dressmaking student and costume designer. Players experience the meticulous work of bringing characters to life through fabric, design, and artistry. The narrative unfolds through character interactions and story progression as the group prepares for their photo shoots on the island.

Costalia itself serves as the primary setting—a destination where cosplayers from across the world gather to celebrate their craft. The island provides the backdrop for encounters with various characters and unexpected developments that extend beyond the initial photography plans. The game explores themes of creativity, collaboration, and the passion that drives the cosplay community.

Developed by AKABEi SOFT2, the studio behind acclaimed visual novels like Sharin no Kuni and G-senjou no Maou, this title features scenario writing by Kuzumi Takeyuki and character designs by Asami Asami. The game is part of the Role Player series, which has built a strong following among visual novel enthusiasts.
