The Riddle of Steel is a cosmetic DLC pack that celebrates the 1982 Arnold Schwarzenegger film Conan the Barbarian. This content expansion brings iconic items, statues, armor, and decorative elements directly from the classic movie into Conan Exiles, allowing players to immerse themselves in the film's legendary aesthetic. The pack includes 18 statues and figurines of Arnold Schwarzenegger as Conan in multiple poses and materials, 5 iconic helmets from the film featuring characters like Thulsa Doom and Rexor, and 5 unique placeables including the Atlantean Throne and King Conan's Lion Throne. Additionally, players can acquire 6 statues each of Valeria and Subotai the Hyrkanian archer, along with 3 decorative warpaints that allow characters to emulate the film's heroes.

All content is purely cosmetic and adds visual variety without providing gameplay advantages. Every new item has comparable stats to existing in-game equipment, ensuring that this DLC enhances roleplay and base customization rather than competitive balance. The pack is designed for fans of the Conan universe and players who want to recreate scenes and aesthetics from the 1982 film within their own castles and settlements.

This DLC requires the base game Conan Exiles to play and is not included in the Year 2 Season Pass or the Complete Edition bundle. It represents a standalone tribute to the film's 37th anniversary and appeals to both longtime Conan enthusiasts and players seeking authentic movie-inspired decoration for their survival bases.
