In Archons, an ancient evil has awakened on a distant planet, and your mission is to summon the powerful Archons to take on swarms of parasites and massive bosses. As you progress, you'll harvest essence to upgrade your skills and weapons, as well as unlock blood runes that allow you to sacrifice some of your health for devastating strength. This will allow you to overcome challenges and get closer to victory.

The game invites you to control two characters at once, one in each hand, as you explore the planet and fight varied enemies. You'll need to uncover the source of the plague that's infecting this alien world, facing bosses and new environments as you progress through the story. Each victory rewards you with coins and resources that will help you progress.

In addition, the game offers a local co-op mode, where you can team up with another player to face the dangers of the planet together. You'll have to choose between different setups and strategies, deciding whether to take a more aggressive or defensive approach, depending on what the situation requires.
