On console, Space Marine 2 runs better on Series X than on PS5 once you push performance mode.
With the same mode and the same resolution — 1080p upscaled from a common 1080p — Series X posts a higher frame rate than PS5. Both struggle to hold 60fps in demanding moments, but the measured gap points the same way throughout.
It raises resolution, shadows, reflections, textures and cloth and water physics, yet the analysis itself warns those changes are not very noticeable. In exchange you lock to 30fps, though all three consoles hold it with good stability.
The game uses no ray tracing on any platform, so PC wins on raw power and upscaling. Testing was done at 3840x2160 with DLSS 2. On the Ultra preset we measured 30 GPUs: an RTX 4090 delivers 156-176 FPS and an RX 7900 XTX 125-139.
⚠ Neither PS5 nor Series X holds 60fps through the demanding stretches of performance mode.

Resolution, modes and FPS come from the video analyses above. The rest is published by each platform's official store and by the game's technical sheet on PC. Where nobody publishes the figure we put a dash, not a guess.

PC. The game uses no ray tracing on any version, so the advantage is resolution and upscaling: testing ran at 3840x2160 with DLSS 2 and max settings. On console, PS5 and Series X tie in quality mode.
In quality mode they are level: 2160p upscaled from a common 1440p at a locked 30fps. In performance mode Series X holds a higher frame rate than PS5, though both drop frames in demanding moments.
It depends on how much a drop bothers you. Quality gives a locked, very stable 30fps; performance targets 60fps but does not always hold it. And note that the visual gains of quality mode are not that noticeable according to the analysis.
One mode only, at 1440p upscaled from a common 1080p and a locked 30fps with good stability. Its cutbacks sit below even the performance mode of PS5 and Series X, mainly in vegetation and ambient occlusion.
No, on any platform. The game uses no ray tracing of any kind, so the differences between versions come down to resolution, frame rate and conventional settings.
We measured 30 cards on the Ultra preset. An RTX 4090 runs at 156-176 FPS, an RTX 4080 SUPER at 127-142 and an RX 7900 XT at 112-124. The version analysed only had DLSS 2; DLSS 3 was confirmed for later.
