Quick verdict

The best version of Redfall is the PC one, by a clear margin.

Best graphics experience PC settings up to Epic and DLSS 3, with no 30 FPS console ceiling
Best console experience Xbox Series X 2160p and 30 FPS against the dynamic 1080p of Series S
Best for the money PC an RTX 4070 Ti returns 166-195 FPS on the Epic preset

Why PC wins

On Xbox the game shipped with a single 30 FPS mode, so PC is the only way to play it above that. And it does not ask for the moon: of the 27 cards we measured on the Epic preset, an RTX 4070 Ti returns 166-195 FPS and an RX 6950 XT 177-207. Turning on DLSS 3 adds another big lift on RTX 40 cards.

On console

Series X holds 2160p at 30 FPS and is the console to play it on. Series S drops to a dynamic 1080p with temporal reconstruction, far below the promised 1440p, and it also struggles to stream textures.

What every version shares

All three carry slight stuttering when streaming scenes, typical of Unreal Engine 4 open worlds. In exchange, loading times are very fast everywhere: under 6 seconds to get into the game.

At the time of the analysis there was no 60 FPS mode on either Xbox Series console; Arkane confirmed one was on the way.
