The best version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is the PC one. On console, Series X gives more resolution and PS5 a cleaner frame rate.
PC lets you set resolution and quality, and it is the only version with 120 FPS, DLSS 2.2 and FSR 2.2. It is also the most demanding: the fastest of the 39 cards we measured, an RTX 2080 Ti, only manages 60-69 FPS at 1080p on the DX12 Ultra preset, and an RTX 2070 SUPER drops to 54-57.
On console there is no current-generation build at all. PS5 and Series X run the previous one in backwards compatibility, landing practically where PS4 Pro and Xbox One X did. Series X reaches 3840×2160p and PS5 stops at 1920×2160p; in exchange, PS5 holds a constant 30 FPS while Series X carries a slight frame-pacing issue.
Price points at PC: its key is the cheapest at 12.09 € on Driffle, with the Xbox one at 12.23 € on Eneba. PS5 has no key, and the cheapest option there is the physical edition at 14.99 €.

Thirty on both. PS5 keeps them constant; Series X carries a slight frame-pacing issue, so motion reads a little less clean.
