Quick verdict

Rainbow Six Extraction runs best on PC, and on console Xbox Series X edges past PS5.

Best graphics experience PC ultra at 2160p and field of view up to 90
Best console experience Xbox Series X average resolution slightly above PS5
Best for the money Xbox Series S a dynamic 1440p with a stable 60 FPS

Why PC wins

Beyond the ultra settings at 2160p it was tested with, the PC version is the only one that lets you push the field of view to 90. On console it is capped at 60, and in a co-op shooter that gap becomes obvious after a while.

On console

Xbox Series X and PS5 share a dynamic 2160p at 60 FPS, but the average resolution on Series X lands slightly higher. Both have an FPS mode that drops to 1080p to secure 60 FPS and improves reflections, shadows and lighting, though the analysis does not consider it necessary.

Series S and last gen

Series S holds 60 FPS at a dynamic 1440p, a clear step up from PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One and One X, all capped at 30 FPS. Coming from last gen, the difference you feel is smoothness.

Loading times are long on every platform, and the 120 FPS mode Ubisoft announced still has no date.
