How to get PlayStation Plus for less
PlayStation Plus comes in three tiers and the gap between them is wide. Essential covers online play, cloud saves and the monthly games; Extra adds the downloadable game catalogue; and Premium puts the classics catalogue and time-limited trials on top. Every tier is sold in 1, 3 and 12-month lengths, and the long-standing 90 and 365-day cards show up here too. What you buy is a code you redeem on your own PSN account, so the region of the code and the region of the account have to match.
This page compares the live price of every tier and every length across 44 verified stores, and shows only the cheapest offer for each. This is where the maths that actually matters shows up: a 12-month subscription is nearly always a good deal cheaper per month than renewing month by month, and the same tier can cost wildly different amounts depending on the store and the region of the card.
Every offer states its activation region and its length before you leave the page, so you never end up with a code your account cannot redeem. And if what you are after is credit to buy individual games rather than a subscription, that is a PlayStation Store gift card, which has its own page.
