No. Nintendo Switch Online is a single membership covering both consoles: it is tied to your Nintendo account, so the one you already have works on a Switch 2 from day one at no extra cost.
On top of the usual (online play, cloud saves and the classic libraries), on the new console the membership is what underpins GameChat, the voice and video feature for playing with friends. The GameCube classics, by contrast, sit inside the Expansion Pack, which is a higher tier.
No. Because the membership lives on the account rather than the machine, moving to a Switch 2 leaves you with exactly the months you had. The same goes for your eShop balance and for the digital games you had already bought.
The 3-month and 12-month codes for the base plan, equally valid on Switch and on Switch 2. They stack onto whatever time you have left, so you can buy now and redeem when renewal comes round.
