The best version of Immortals Fenyx Rising is the PC one, and on console PS5 wins on quality mode.
It is the only version with ultrawide, 120 FPS, an adjustable field of view and multi-monitor support, on top of 4K and HDR. We measured 28 graphics cards on the Very high preset: an RTX 3090 sits between 103 and 116 FPS, an RX 5700 XT between 82 and 95 and an RTX 2080 Ti between 74 and 86. The game has neither ray tracing nor upscaling, mind.
In quality mode PS5 is the only console where nothing below 3840x2160 was found, while Series X occasionally drops to 3328x1872. Performance mode is a coin toss that swings scene by scene. PS5039;s catch is a bug that causes stuttering in that mode.
Xbox One X is the sharpest of the previous generation, commonly at 3200x1800 against PS4 Pro039;s 2560x1440. Switch closes the list at 720p docked and around 896x504 handheld, but it is the only one you can take with you.
⚠ In the versions tested, PS5's performance mode carried a bug that caused stuttering unrelated to the frame rate.
