God of War Ragnarök gives you more on PC, and on console the benchmark is PS5 in performance mode.
On PC you set resolution and settings, and you get what PlayStation does not offer: ultrawide, 4K at 120 FPS and upscaling with DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, XeSS 1.3 or TAAU. We have no FPS measurements of our own for this title, so we publish no numbers we have not measured.
On console PS5 leads. Quality mode at 2160p and 30 FPS, performance at a dynamic 2160p and 60, and 120 Hz output that pushes quality to 40 FPS with VRR and performance to around 80. The review itself picks performance at 60 Hz: a resolution very close to 4K with a stable 60 FPS.
PS5 Pro adds a mode with quality settings at an upscaled 2160p and 60 FPS, and lets you choose between TAA and PSSR. PSSR costs around 10 FPS and adds artefacts to reflections and Kratos039; beard, so the pick is performance with TAA: 20 to 30 FPS more than PS5. Below that, PS4 stays at 1080p and 30 FPS and PS4 Pro never reaches 60 in its performance mode.

Resolution, modes and FPS come from the video analyses above. The rest is published by each platform's official store and by the game's technical sheet on PC. Where nobody publishes the figure we put a dash, not a guess.

PC, because you choose resolution and settings and it adds ultrawide, 4K at 120 FPS and upscaling with DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1 and XeSS 1.3. On console the best version is PS5, and PS5 Pro improves it with a mode of its own at an upscaled 2160p and 60 FPS.
Two, quality and performance, each with 60 Hz and 120 Hz output. Quality runs at 2160p and 30 FPS, performance at a dynamic 2160p and 60. At 120 Hz, quality rises to 40 FPS with VRR and performance to around 80, both with the frame rate unlocked.
Performance at 60 Hz. The review recommends it outright: it holds a resolution very close to 4K with a stable 60 FPS, and the differences against quality mode are small (shadows, ambient occlusion, draw distance, reflections and some textures).
A mode of its own at an upscaled 2160p and 60 FPS with quality mode settings, plus the choice between TAA and PSSR. In performance with TAA it averages 20 to 30 FPS more than PS5, and touches 120 at times.
The review says no. PSSR costs around 10 FPS and adds artefacts in places like reflections or Kratos' beard. The recommendation is performance mode with TAA.
No, on any platform. The PC technical sheet rules it out, and the console reviews never mention it either.
PS4 stays at 1080p and 30 FPS. PS4 Pro has two modes, one at a dynamic 1656p and 30 FPS and a performance one that never reaches 60, sitting closer to 50. PS5 improves reflections, ambient occlusion, textures, vegetation, draw distance and shadows.
No. In our catalogue the game only exists on PC, PS4 and PS5, so the comparison stops at those three platforms.
84.06 GB on PS5 and 107.30 GB on PS4, as measured in the review. We have no figure for the PC version.
The cheapest key is on PC. Above it sit PS5 and PS4. Prices move every day: the live ones are on each version’s page. Watch out for account offers, cheaper because they are not a purchase in your name.
