Quick verdict

In the Gears of War E-Day beta, PC has the most headroom, while Series X brings resolution and Series S brings stability.

Best graphics experience PC ultra above 60 FPS on any RTX 50 card
Best console experience Xbox Series X all three modes and the higher resolution
Best for the money Xbox Series S the steadier frame rate in performance mode

Why PC wins

On PC you do not trade resolution for frames: the analysis clears 60 FPS with any RTX 50 card on ultra at its recommended resolution, and RTX 40 cards can still run ultra. An RTX 3060 reaches 60 FPS on high settings at 1080p with DLSS set to quality.

On console

Xbox Series X offers all three modes in campaign and Horde, but its performance mode swings between 50 and 75 FPS. Balanced only appears on a 120Hz display, and PvP restricts you to performance mode.

Series S, steadier

Series S rarely climbs above 60 FPS, but it holds a steadier frame rate than Series X in performance mode. In a shooter this fast, consistency matters more than pixel count.

Everything here comes from the beta: frame generation is disabled on PC and the figures may change in the final build.
