Why are new games criticized right away!!!!

I think it's all a matter of marketing and rival campaigns... I believe there's a dark world behind all of it, and in any sector where that much money moves around, the competition between studios must be brutal, and the mercenaries of the day (the press) are willing to favor some more than others

Because nowadays the vast majority of players go for a certain type of game based on its advertising, like when they get x influencers playing it during peak viewing hours and pay them to promote it. They don't care if it's fun, if the port is acceptable or if the side quests are easy.

People are nostalgic by definition. What they criticize now will seem good to them in the future.

Because these days everybody expects the best, and the minute something doesn't win people over, they're the first to criticize without seeing the rest of the good stuff in the games
