Buy Ultimate Fishing Simulator: Moraine Lake Steam Key

Moraine Lake is a high-altitude glacial lake in the Canadian Rockies, set at 1,885 meters above sea level. This DLC expansion for Ultimate Fishing Simulator transports players to one of North America's most scenic fishing destinations, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and diverse trout populations.

The gameplay loop centers on methodical fishing expeditions across the 120-acre lake using multiple techniques: spinning, float fishing, ground fishing, and lure-based approaches. Players navigate the lake via kayak in summer or drill through ice in winter, positioning themselves at marked fishing spots to target specific species. Each fishing session involves selecting appropriate tackle, casting, managing line tension, and reeling in catches—with success dependent on matching lure type, size, and retrieval technique to the target species.

Moraine Lake introduces eleven fish species to the base game's roster, including Golden Trout, Tiger Trout, Sauger, Walleye, and Yellow Perch alongside multiple trout varieties. The DLC features both seasonal modes—summer exploration with scenic kayaking and winter ice fishing—adding environmental variety to the fishing experience. The lake's mountainous setting provides atmospheric visuals and multiple fishing zones accessible through slower-paced travel, rewarding exploration and patience.

This expansion differentiates itself through its focus on freshwater mountain fishing in a real-world location, offering species diversity and seasonal gameplay variation absent from the base game's other locales. The combination of scenic presentation, species variety, and dual-season gameplay appeals to simulation enthusiasts seeking authentic fishing mechanics without time pressure. Moraine Lake caters to players who value relaxation, environmental immersion, and methodical gameplay over action-oriented mechanics.
