Star-Coat is a third-person shooter set in a sci-fi universe where you take on the role of a Star-Coat—a cosmic protector wielding a customizable walker called a COAT. Dive into procedurally generated dungeons filled with corrupted enemies and powerful bosses, each encounter offering fresh challenges and varied layouts. The gameplay loop centers on combat, loot collection, and gear progression: defeat enemies to harvest materials, craft stronger weapons and armor through The Tailors, and return to face increasingly difficult threats. Your COAT serves as your primary tool—a fearsome, heavily-armed walker that can be piloted for slow but devastating firepower, or abandoned for faster, more agile combat on foot. Customize both your pilot and your walker with diverse weapon loadouts and cosmetic armor to suit your playstyle. What sets Star-Coat apart is its blend of mech-based third-person shooting with roguelike dungeon crawling and deep customization systems. The procedural generation ensures no two runs feel identical, while the emphasis on pilot-versus-walker playstyle choice adds strategic depth. The game targets players who enjoy action-heavy shooters with progression mechanics, fans of mech gameplay, and those seeking replayable content with meaningful loot systems. Its sci-fi aesthetic and focus on cosmetic customization appeal to players who value both gameplay and visual expression.
