Sawad puts you and your friends in the role of desperate content creators chasing viral fame and subscriber counts. Your mission: infiltrate haunted locations, confront whatever supernatural forces lurk within, and eliminate threats while hidden cameras capture every moment. The footage you record becomes your currency—edit clips, upload them, and watch your channel explode as views and revenue pour in. The catch is survival. You must stay alive long enough to reach the upload button, or all your footage dies with you. Gameplay revolves around cooperative exploration and combat in atmospheric, trap-laden environments. Teams coordinate to navigate hazards, solve environmental puzzles, and fend off hostile entities while maintaining awareness of camera placement and footage quality. The game emphasizes risk-versus-reward mechanics: pushing deeper into dangerous areas yields better content but increases the likelihood of death. Sawad differentiates itself by blending survival horror with social media satire, making content creation itself the narrative driver rather than a secondary mechanic. The constant tension between capturing footage and staying alive creates emergent storytelling moments. Multiplayer cooperation is essential—players must balance individual survival instincts with team objectives, and communication becomes as critical as combat skill. The game appeals to players who enjoy cooperative horror experiences with dark humor, social commentary, and mechanics that reward both tactical thinking and creative problem-solving.
