About PRIM

Story

After her mother's passing, Prim discovers that her father is none other than Death himself. Forced to live with him in the Realm of the Dead from now on, Prim is determined to escape the Grim Reaper's strict rules, for Death is anything but a natural-born father. But when she manages to flee on her 16th birthday, Prim's own powers are unleashed, with horrible consequences...
In her quest to set things right, Prim must explore the Underworld, confronting dangers, but also forging unlikely alliances.
Can you help Prim find her place in the world, or will the consequences of her journey unravel the delicate balance between life and death?

At its core, PRIM is a story of a father learning to let go of control and a girl finding her place in the world. But it's also a thrilling adventure, full of magic and darkness. On her journey, Prim has to switch between the Realm of the Dead and the Land of the Living, where she faces demons, real ones and ones within herself, while always being accompanied by her sidekick, an eye with spider legs.

  • brain-teasing puzzles and diverse mini games
  • multiple playable characters
  • immersive orchestral soundtrack, recorded live by Film Orchestra Babelsberg
  • full English or German voice acting

Information about PRIM for PC

After her mother's death, Prim discovers that her real father is Death himself. Now, she is forced to live in the Realm of the Dead under the strict rules of her father, who is not exactly a model of fatherhood. Determined to escape that life, Prim manages to flee when she turns 16, but in doing so she unleashes her own powers with terrible consequences. In her attempt to repair the chaos she has caused, she must venture through the underworld, facing dangers and creating unexpected alliances.

Throughout her journey, Prim will have to explore both the world of the living and the world of the dead, facing not only external enemies, but also her own internal demons. Accompanied by her faithful friend, an eye with spider legs, Prim lives an adventure full of magic and darkness, where each decision could alter the fragile balance between life and death.

The story is, in essence, a reflection on control and self-discovery. On one hand, it shows a father who must learn to let go of control, and on the other, a young girl who is searching for her place in the world. Although the tone is emotional, it is also full of humor and familiar touches, exploring themes such as friendship and destiny through endearing characters and complex situations.

The game presents a Realm of the Dead full of creativity, with hand-painted graphics that bring to life a unique environment. Players will have to solve puzzles and participate in mini-games, all while enjoying an immersive orchestral soundtrack, recorded live by the Film Orchestra Babelsberg, which perfectly accompanies the atmosphere of the game.

This game's a beautifully hand - drawn point - and - click story in the style of Tim Burton. Darkly whimsical, emotionally resonant family story with solid puzzles. Occasionally inconsistent voice acting, but all around charming and well - constructed.
