About OMSI 2 Add On Valiant Citybus Family

The Valiant Citybus Family DLC for OMSI 2 represents the Volvo 7000 and 7700 on B7L, B7LA and B10LA chassis produced between 1998 and 2006. These vehicles proved particularly popular in Eastern Europe, with most examples produced operating in Budapest, Vilnius, Wroclaw and Lodz. However, these vehicles also had a significant career in the rest of Europe, with examples in major cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Geneva and Nantes.

This DLC includes 9 main versions, covering the most common variants, in all lengths and door configurations.

2 engines are available, allowing a choice between Diesel and Natural Gas.

The vehicles are all highly customisable, thanks to 18 SETVARs, chosen to represent a maximum of the many and varied options offered in this vehicle's catalogue. Thanks to these SETVARs, you can create around 600* unique configurations.

The vehicles can be repainted as you like, thanks to the templates included and an explanatory manual. Most of the vehicles that existed have been represented as faithfully as possible**.

  • 9 Versions

                Lengths: 12m and 17.94m

                Engines: D7C (250 and 290 kW), GH10C (290kW)

                Gearboxes: VOITH D863.3E, ZF 5HP552C, ZF 5HP592C

3 dashboards available, including a VDO (VDV)

  • All versions have a default demonstrator type variant

  • 18 SETVAR

  • Highly detailed 3D model

  • Optimised textures

  • All the main options are represented in SETVAR (doors, cockpit, mirrors, etc.)

  • At least 2 possible seat configurations per vehicle

  • Authentic sounds

  • VOITH and ZF transmissions available

  • New air conditioning system

* calculation based on the version with the least SETVAR.

** For the sake of simplicity, the layout of the buttons on the various dashboards is fixed and does not take into account the exotic layouts sometimes offered on certain networks. The on-board systems are also the same for all vehicles.

INFORMATION ABOUT OMSI 2 Add-On Valiant Citybus Family FOR PC

The Valiant Citybus Family add-on for OMSI 2 introduces a detailed recreation of the Volvo 7000 and 7700 buses, manufactured between the late 1990s and mid-2000s on the B7L, B7LA, and B10LA chassis. These models were very common in several Eastern European cities, especially Budapest, Vilnius, Wrocław, and Łódź, although they also circulated in other major European cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Geneva, and Nantes.

This DLC offers nine main variants representing different body and door configurations, ranging from standard to articulated models. The player can choose between two engine types: diesel and natural gas, with various power outputs available. It also includes a variety of automatic transmissions that add realism to both the sound and the vehicle's response.

One of the most notable features is the high level of customization. There are 18 configurable parameters (SetVars) that allow you to modify details such as door design, cabin layout, mirror types, and seat arrangements. This allows for the creation of up to 600 different combinations, bringing you closer to the realistic range of options available on these buses of their time.

The vehicles can also be visually customized with different paint schemes, thanks to included templates and an explanatory manual. While historical accuracy has been prioritized, certain standard elements, such as button panels and onboard systems, have been retained to simplify development and ensure the mod's stability.

With realistic sounds from Voith and ZF gearboxes, as well as a new climate control system, this package aims to offer an experience as close as possible to real-life driving of these urban models. Ultimately, it is an expansion that significantly expands the variety of vehicles available in OMSI 2, with a special focus on technical and visual accuracy.
