Ninja Cat Remewstered is a challenging fast-paced platformer where a lone feline warrior seeks to prove himself against the world's most formidable bosses. Armed initially with only shuriken, the cat navigates through over 60 intricately designed stages, discovering new weapons and abilities along the way while collecting gold and treasures.

The core gameplay loop centers on precision platforming and tactical combat. You'll master the cat's signature grappling hook—integrated into his headband—to swing across hazardous terrain, time your shuriken throws to eliminate enemies, and unlock additional tools like the sword and double jump to expand your movement options. Each stage culminates in destroying electrified gem cages to claim your prize, but the path forward is fraught with relentless enemies and environmental hazards that demand split-second reflexes.

What sets Remewstered apart is its deep customization and accessibility framework. Modifiers allow you to adjust difficulty on the fly, creating unique challenge combinations with persistent local leaderboards tracking your best times and scores. The game supports keyboard, controller, and touchscreen input seamlessly, with extensive accessibility options ensuring players of all abilities can experience the full adventure.

This is a ground-up recreation of the original PICO-8 title, featuring significantly improved graphics, expanded stage count, and additional content. The one-hit-death mechanic—balanced by nine lives per run—creates tension that rewards skillful play and pattern recognition. Speedrunners, completionists, and casual players alike will find something to master here, whether pursuing pacifist runs, collecting every coin, or simply racing against the clock.
