Namco Legendary Mountains reimagines classic arcade icons through voxel-based 3D puzzle gameplay. Developed by BeXide in collaboration with Bandai Namco, this title transforms beloved characters from Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Mappy, The Tower of Druaga, and Xevious into colorful 3D blocks that serve as the foundation for strategic puzzle solving.

The core gameplay loop is straightforward yet engaging: players toss capsule-like containers onto a circular platform, launching voxel characters into the playfield. When two matching voxels collide, they merge into a single larger form, creating a cascading effect reminiscent of classic falling-block puzzles. The challenge lies in managing limited space while preventing pieces from tumbling off the stage—a mechanic that rewards both quick thinking and careful planning.

Each of the five themed stages celebrates a different Namco classic, complete with dedicated visuals and iconic music that evoke the original arcade experience. Beyond the main stage that blends elements from multiple franchises, players can unlock over 100 unique voxel collectibles through gameplay challenges. These can be displayed and arranged freely in a customizable Collection Room, allowing players to curate their own gallery of Namco history.

The game emphasizes replayability through its score-attack mode, which features online rankings inspired by traditional arcade leaderboards. Players compete globally to claim the top spot, recreating the thrill of carving their name into the high-score board. With simple controls masking strategic depth, Namco Legendary Mountains appeals to both casual puzzle enthusiasts and arcade veterans seeking a fresh take on classic characters.
