Monster Fantasy invites players to the Kingdom of Eldoras, a vibrant fantasy world where amnesiac adventurers can chart their own path. Developed by Jotoyo, a 20-person studio in Chengdu, this action RPG uniquely splits its experience into two independent modules: intense monster hunting and cozy life simulation. Players choose their own balance—pursue hardcore combat encounters or embrace village building, fishing, cooking, and crafting.

Combat centers on four distinct classes: Warrior, Mage, Archer, and Martial Artist. Each offers unique mechanics and weapon choices, with skills tied to equipment rather than fixed progression. A single character can eventually unlock every ability, encouraging experimentation across playstyles. Outside battle, players tame defeated monsters as companions, which grow and evolve alongside their trainer. These creatures serve as both allies in combat and mounts for traversing diverse biomes—rainforests, icy plains, volcanoes, and beyond.

The life-sim layer rivals the hunting depth. Build and customize a home, gather resources, cook meals, craft equipment, and interact with approximately 100 villagers, each with distinct personalities and interests. This dual-module design means progression doesn't depend on combat; players can advance the story through either hunting or domestic pursuits, or any combination thereof.

Monster Fantasy supports both single-player and online cooperative play, allowing friends to hunt together, construct villages collaboratively, and explore the Kingdom of Eldoras as a team. The game's chibi-inspired aesthetic and accessible design philosophy aim to bridge action-game enthusiasts and cozy-game fans, welcoming players of varying skill levels and preferences into one cohesive world.
