Theatreland is a decaying jumble of London streets, corrupted theatres and seemingly endless caverns. Each Master Magician has their Realm, a place for them to practice their own special branch of stage magic. And that magic has itself gotten out of control, tearing at the very fabric of this reality.

Gameplay places players in a first-person perspective where traditional stage magic tricks are weaponized into lethal combat disciplines. Players can manipulate gravity to bend the environment, throw razor-sharp playing cards as deadly projectiles, and summon physical chains to ensnare groups of nightmarish enemies. As Jacob descends deeper through the shifting stages of Theatreland, defeating the rival Masters allows him to directly steal their unique powers to expand his own mechanical capabilities.
