Lost In Prayer's characters have:

  • Specific equipment slots: Not every loot will be useful for your character. Sadly, our big turtle-like guy, the Godly Terapin, can’t fit any chest armor on him.

  • Unique skill sets to unlock: You can play the same character in different ways thanks to a wide skill tree.

The odds are stacked against you, so whether it is part of your environment or a combination of your abilities, seize any opportunities to gain the upper hand. You’ll need it.

Create deadly Combos. Leave a burning circle at every step, swap your place with your enemy, and push them into traps using the Tango skill. Freeze enemies where they are before launching an area-of-effect attack

This turns every death into an opportunity: falling to a powerful boss not only represents an obstacle, but also a way to transform that opponent into your greatest weapon in future battles. The game offers dozens of playable characters, each with unique styles that invite you to experiment and discover which one best suits your style of play.

Each character has its own limitations and advantages. Some cannot equip certain items due to their anatomy, such as the hulking Godly Terapin, who is unable to wear torso armor. Still, each has a unique skill tree that allows for different development and combat styles. This flexibility encourages players to experiment with combinations of powers and strategies to succeed, as the environment, enemies, and abilities themselves can all work to their advantage if used wisely.

The possibilities for creating chained attacks are endless. You can leave a trail of fire with every step, swap places with your enemies, lure them into traps, or even use their own attacks against them. The combat system rewards creativity: you can freeze opponents before launching a devastating area attack, push a vain angel into the fire, or wound multiple enemies in a row with a well-aimed shot. Combat is as tactical as it is frenetic.

The journey takes you along two opposing paths: Heaven and Hell. Each has its own unique environment, enemies, traps, and mechanics, making both experiences feel completely different. To unlock all the available characters, you must travel both paths. Neither will be easy, and each floor will demand more of you than the last. But the greater the challenge, the greater the reward. In this purgatory, the only path to redemption is to keep fighting.
