Deluge: Raintime is an interactive visual novel set on Bremersberg, an artificial island harboring hidden abnormalities. You follow William, an unassuming college student whose curiosity about the island's mysteries gradually consumes him, driving him toward psychological unraveling. The narrative unfolds through careful dialogue choices that shape your path through multiple ending routes, each revealing different facets of the island's dark secrets.

Gameplay centers on exploration and conversation within a richly detailed world populated by fleshed-out characters. Your decisions matter—dialogue choices and relationship development unlock different story branches and conclusions. The visual novel structure emphasizes narrative immersion over traditional mechanics, with the atmospheric soundtrack and hand-drawn artwork creating a cohesive, unsettling mood throughout.

Deluge: Raintime distinguishes itself as both a prequel and epilogue to the broader Deluge Chronicles. It introduces a mostly new cast while revealing secrets that strike at the core of the series' mythology. The full release will include a comprehensive After Story following the lives of characters from the previous Deluge game five years after its conclusion, deepening the interconnected narrative universe.

The game weaves psychological and Lovecraftian undertones throughout, exploring themes of obsession, madness, and cosmic dread. Rather than action or puzzle-solving, the experience prioritizes literary storytelling and character psychology. This title appeals to players seeking narrative-driven adventures with philosophical depth, those invested in visual novel storytelling, and audiences drawn to psychological horror with literary ambitions.
