as the first game in the series(not mentioning demon souls for now) i can see why it was d an entire genre.This is a hard game,but very satisfying when you finish a boss.This game has one of the most memorable bosses not just in the souls genre,but in general.But i cannot say this game is perfect.The second half of the game is clearly rushed and the bosses in that part are far inferior if you compare them to the ones in the first half.However the dlc repairs a bit of that problem,since the content it gives its pretty good and has(in my opinion) the best bosses in the entire game.Good game but has some problems that i cannot ignore
This game is nothing short of a master piece for me i played the remastered which was as amazing as this every day i check every site to see are there any cheap version of this instant gaming i have to wait for the stock if you see the type of aggresion i do for this game it should be enough for you to get it if possible so go for it

An other thing to remember is that the porting is done very badly, so you need a software called ds fix in order to play

This game is mor than a game, this is a new life for everyone who plays it. Probably one of the best games in the last decade. If you haven't played it, you're missing out.
Well, this game is so popular for a reason. It is, indeed, one of the best games ever made. Not only the challenge it provides is extremely addictive, but also the way it makes you learn to play it, and the satisfaction that you feel when you finish that boss that killed you 15 times in painful ways. Also, it is so fun to play, it hurts. Really hurts. Like, literally, I suffered a lot. Prepare to die, and prepare to lose your sanity if you buy this game (By the way, please do, you'll not regret it)
Very hard, only if you like to mash button without knowledge, If you like good mechanics and like to be tactical, this is definitely your game. Don't expect Dark Sould to tell you typical story, one of its pros is Lore and world talking to you directly.
its ok i guess I mean while graphic and atmosphere are pretty nailed the difficulty most of the consist of more ennemies, like here a skeleton...pretty cool huh well here 2 skeletons we know we know you don't have to say we are the best game developper of all time !
A very frustating game but, very interesting and cool to play, nice story and character designs, and a good choice of boss battles that make the game better
One of the best games for me. The difficulty makes you always stay on guard. Optimization for PC is not very well made, but after some time in the game you realize that it is perfect.

Although Dark Souls itself is a fantastic game, the Windows version is a notoriously poor port with input and graphical issues. However, I seem to recall there being a fan hack that dramatically improves the game performance, making it possibly worth getting this version.
