Clutch is an open-world racing game set in Monaco and the French Riviera, following two siblings named Theo and Cass Martial competing against rival drivers in both the prestigious R1K professional circuit and an underground racing club known as the Midnight Collective. Players live the double life of a modern racing outlaw in a world driven by ambition, rivalry, and risk, competing in elite sanctioned racing by day, then descending into the underground after dark where cinematic getaway missions, escalating pursuits, and social chaos transform every road into a story. Built using Unreal Engine 5, Clutch features a dynamic degradation system that reflects vehicle wear and tear based on how aggressively players drive. The game promises deep customisation, allowing players to heavily modify exteriors and interiors with real-world aftermarket parts, including swappable seats and steering wheels, and even drinks in cupholders along with dashboard ornaments. Players progress through a diverse array of hand-crafted and spontaneous missions and races that break the mold of modern driving games and challenge player creativity at every turn.

Developed by Maverick Games, an independent studio founded and led by Mike Brown, who served as the creative director of Forza Horizon 5 and worked as a designer for Forza Horizon 4.
