BitWise is a puzzle game about electricity and the machines people made from it. You begin with simple circuits—closing a loop to light a lamp—and progress through increasingly complex challenges involving relays, logic gates, adders, latches, and counters. By the seventh chapter, you're building a stored-program machine that listens to a blinking beacon, decodes Morse code, and controls outputs with precision.

The core gameplay loop is hands-on and tactile: place components on a bench, wire them by hand, and watch a real circuit simulator run your creation. Unlike traditional puzzle games with predetermined solutions, BitWise's grader has no answer key. If your circuit achieves the goal—if the lamp lights or the output matches the requirement—your solution passes, even if it's unconventional. This philosophy rewards creative problem-solving and experimentation.

The game spans 238 levels across seven chapters, each introducing new components and concepts that build upon previous knowledge. You'll learn how circuits actually work by constructing them, making BitWise both an engaging puzzle experience and an educational tool. The included level editor and Steam Workshop support enable community sharing and extend replayability indefinitely.

BitWise appeals to puzzle enthusiasts, logic game fans, and anyone curious about how electronics function. It shares design DNA with titles like Shenzhen I/O and Turing Complete, but grounds the experience in tangible circuit behavior. Whether you're seeking intellectual challenge or want to understand the fundamentals of digital logic, BitWise delivers both through elegant, hands-on puzzle design.
