The best version of Battlefield 6 is the PC one, and on console PS5 Pro leads.
PC wins on reflections, level of detail, terrain quality, vegetation, particles and draw distance, and it is the only version with DLSS 4, FSR 4 and XeSS 2 plus frame generation. We measured 31 cards on the OVERKILL preset: the RTX 5090 runs at 197-254 FPS at 1080p and the six fastest never drop below 130.
The flip side is how well it is optimised. The analysis pulls acceptable numbers on high at 1080p with an RTX 3050, and warns that beyond shadows, textures and lighting the settings barely change the picture: the game still looks good on low.
On console, PS5 Pro raises level of detail, shadows and volumetric lighting in both modes and pulls over 20 FPS ahead of PS5 in performance mode in some areas. Cutscenes are locked at 60 FPS on both. In the beta, PS5 Pro also held the highest average resolution, PS5 kept a slight lead over Xbox Series X on terrain and particles, and Xbox Series S had no display modes and no screen space reflections.
⚠ The Xbox Series data comes from the beta analysis, not the final version, so it may change. No graphics analysis of the final Xbox build has been published.

PC. It beats PS5 Pro on reflections, level of detail, terrain quality, vegetation, particles and draw distance. On console, the best image is PS5 Pro.
Very. The analysis calls it one of the best-optimised games of the generation, and it puts up acceptable numbers on high at 1080p with an RTX 3050.
It depends what you are after. An RTX 3050 plays it on high at 1080p. We measured 31 cards on the OVERKILL preset: the RTX 5090 hits 197-254 FPS at 1080p, the RTX 5080 150-198 and the RTX 4090 146-194.
Two, quality and performance. Performance mode trims level of detail, shadows, terrain quality, volumetric lighting and post-processing on both PS5 and PS5 Pro.
It raises level of detail, shadows and volumetric lighting in both modes, and holds a higher frame rate in performance: over 20 FPS more in some areas, barely any in others.
Only a few of them. Beyond shadows, textures and lighting the rest barely changes the image, and the game still looks good on low.
No. PCGamingWiki records no ray tracing for the PC version, and none of the video analyses mention it.
DLSS. On PC there is DLSS 4, FSR 4 and XeSS 2 with frame generation from all three, and the analysis puts DLSS a few steps ahead of the console upscalers.
From the beta analysis: Xbox Series X has both display modes, holds 60 FPS in balanced and hovers around 90 in performance, though it sits behind PS5 on terrain quality and particles. Xbox Series S has no display modes, targets 60 FPS and drops screen space reflections. No analysis of the final build has been published.
The cheapest key is on Xbox, at 27.30 €. On PS5 the key sits at 39.99 € and on PC at 43.30 €. Watch out for account offers, which come out cheaper because they are not a purchase in your name: on Xbox the account is 15.10 €.
