Auction: €10 Steam Gift Card

Auction

Bid your tickets on €10 Steam Gift Card. The highest bid when the clock hits zero takes it.

The highest ticket bid wins when time runs out. Only the winner pays: everyone else gets all their tickets back, instantly. If someone bids in the last 2 minutes, the clock is extended so there are 2 minutes left again.

How auctions work

  • Bid with tickets: the first bid must be at least 50 tickets, and every new bid has to beat the last one by 5 tickets or more.
  • While you’re in the lead, the tickets you bid stay reserved. If someone outbids you, they go back to your balance right away.
  • If someone bids in the last 2 minutes, the end moves 2 minutes later so nobody wins on the final second. 30 extra minutes at most.
  • The highest bid when the clock hits zero wins. We review every auction before confirming the winner; only then are their tickets spent.
  • Each person can win one auction every 7 days, so prizes get shared around.
  • While you’re leading an auction you can’t bid in another one: you can only lead one at a time.
  • This auction requires level 2 or higher.

Auction rules

  1. Who can bid. Registered users with a valid email address and one account per person. The same residency rules (USA, Europe and the UK) and multi-account rules as in giveaways apply. Some auctions require a minimum level.
  2. Bids are placed with tickets only. Tickets can’t be bought, have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for money: you earn them by using the site.
  3. Hold and return. While you’re in the lead, the tickets you bid stay reserved. If someone outbids you, they go back to your balance instantly.
  4. Extended ending. If someone bids in the last 2 minutes, the end moves 2 minutes later, up to 30 extra minutes.
  5. One win every 7 days. After winning an auction you can’t bid in another one until 7 days have passed and, while you’re leading an auction, you can’t bid in a different one.
  6. Review before the prize. When the auction ends we review the winning bid, and only once it’s confirmed are its tickets spent. If we detect cheating (multiple accounts or blocked accounts), that bid is voided, its tickets are returned and the auction reopens with no leader for another 24 hours so that it can still have a winner: we notify everyone who had already bid, and the minimum bid becomes the highest valid bid plus the increment. An auction can be reopened at most 3 times; after that it is cancelled with no winner.
  7. Manual delivery. We email the winner at their account address and hand over the prize manually. The prize can’t be swapped for money or for another product.
  8. 48 hours to reply. When we confirm that you’ve won, we notify you and email you at your account address to deliver the prize. You have 48 hours from that notice to reply to our message. If you don’t reply in time, you lose the right to claim the prize, the tickets of your bid are not returned and the auction is closed without delivery.
  9. Cancellation. We may cancel an auction before confirming the winner because of an error in the prize, a technical fault or fraud. In that case all reserved tickets are returned.
