
The best version of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is the PC one, and on console PS5 Pro leads.
On PC you set resolution and settings and get the whole toolbox: DLSS 4.5, FSR 4, XeSS 2 and TAAU for upscaling, plus frame generation from all three. We measured 30 cards on the Ultra High RT Extended preset: an RTX 5090 delivers 93-105 FPS at 1080p and an RTX 4090 78-86. The analysis itself says an RTX 3050 already plays it above 30 FPS at medium settings.
Consoles get three display modes. Quality raises ray tracing, level of detail and water and hair quality, but the important part is that here, unlike AC Shadows, PS5 and Series X keep decent ray tracing in performance mode too: only reflections are cut. PS5 Pro goes one step further and its performance mode approaches the quality mode of the other two.
Xbox Series S is the only console with a single mode, and its settings sit in line with the performance mode of PS5 and Series X. Overall performance is very stable everywhere: the engine is more polished than in Assassin039;s Creed Shadows.

HDR yes, on both PC and Xbox. The Xbox catalogue also lists Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and current-generation optimisation. On PC there is ultrawide support and an adjustable field of view.
