The most played game of the last 12 months on Valve's console
Throughout the year 2023 and part of 2024, we have been able to see that the game Baldur's Gate 3 has maintained its position as one of the most popular games on the entire Steam platform. This is quite an achievement considering it faces true "free to play" titans like Counter Strike 2 or Dota 2.
But more recently, we have learned that if we refer exclusively to Steam Deck, the game has surpassed all its competition, becoming the most played of the last 12 months.
A true RPG genre colossus
Valve has revealed the top 100 favorite games of Steam Deck among its users, and it is understandable that many of the top spots are occupied by independently developed titles perfectly suited for portable play, such as Vampire Survivors and Dave the Diver. The most popular games were determined by the number of daily active players, whether they are verified releases - without issues on Steam Deck - or not.
The title from Larian Studios is now a benchmark in the RPG genre worldwide and is currently available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. If you haven't had the chance to try it yet, take a look at the latest deals, as it can be obtained for a good price after more than a year since its official release.
