On April 26th, what will likely be a great success for the PS5 console arrives. We're talking about Stellar Blade, developed by Shift Up, with promising action and interesting character design options.
One of the game's virtues is that it offers a variety of settings to customize, from simple yet effective difficulty options to HUD display settings, and more.
At Gocdkeys, we've put together this small guide so you know which game settings you should configure:
Mandatory: Activate Auto-Item Collection
Stellar Blade has plenty of items you'll need to pick up from crates. By default, you need to hold down R2 to collect them. That's ridiculous; don't do that.
Instead, you should go to Settings > Gameplay in the menu and activate "Auto-Item Collection."
Story Mode with Assistance
Eve, the protagonist of Stellar Blade, has plenty of combos and battle moves. Story Mode is the game's easiest difficulty level and includes an assistance option called "Action Assistance."
If you're a newcomer to action games, you may want to leave this activated. When activated, you'll be given a circular indicator that slows down time during certain moments in combat, allowing you to synchronize your moves more carefully.
Controller Speaker
Some sounds from Stellar Blade will come out of your DualSense controller by default. If you don't want your gamepad to behave too exaggeratedly, deactivate it, as it can be too distracting and exaggerate the gaming experience.
Go to Settings > Sound > Controller Speaker to change this.
HUD Options
You have three main options for displaying your HUD in Stellar Blade: turn it off completely, have it on during specific moments, and always on. More advanced players may want to have the latter activated. However, we do not recommend turning off the HUD completely. Dynamic (which is the default) is a perfectly acceptable setting and you won't have any issues.
Vibration Setting
Stellar Blade will really put your DualSense controller to the test. Although that can be fun, we found it a bit exaggerated, to the point where we got cramps in our hands from all the shaking. Reducing the vibration to a 7 will greatly help you avoid hand cramps.
And our final advice...
It's the most important advice and focuses on when buying Stellar Blade for PS5. This advice will help you get the game in digital format much cheaper than if you were to buy it in physical format. Check out our
