Age of Empires II HD seems to be still alive, and on December 19th comes the new Age of Empires II HD Rise of the Rajas expansion, which will incorporate 4 totally new Southeast Asian civilizations, with 4 campaigns for each civilization, plus their corresponding unique units, technologies and construction trees. The new civilizations are: Burmese, with powerful battle elephants that will destroy any defense and whose unique unit is the Arambai, a distance attack cavalry unit. The Khmer civilization, with devastating siege weapons and whose unique unit is the Khmer, who is an elephant with a ballista on his back. The Malay with ports that can shoot arrows. The unique unit of Malay is the Karambit warrior, a cheap infantry unit but numerous. And the Vietnamese civilization, which stands out by its remote troops. The unique Vietnamese unit is the Rattan Archer, a heavily armored remote unit. In addition to civilizations and their campaigns, we will also enjoy 13 new battlefields, new objects for the editor and the spectator mode. Remember that to enjoy the third expansion of the mythical Age of Empires 2 is necessary to have the base game on Steam.
