Strategy and Tactics Dark Ages is a turn-based strategy game set in the Middle Ages, but in an alternate universe, where the most powerful armies of antiquity collide with each other. The fierce Vikings fight against war elephants, French musketeers fighting the nomadic Mongolian armies, the Roman legions of Julius Caesar against the Christian armies of the Crusades, in short, one against all. We will take control of one of the commanders of the six civilizations and we will put ourselves in charge of a small kingdom that we´ll must manage and administer and try to make it survive in this brutal and ruthless time. In addition, our small kingdom will be surrounded by enemies, so we will must create as soon as possible an army with sufficient deterrent capacity. By surviving the battles, our armies will gain experience and develop their abilities, in addition, the generals are the axis of each army, and their abilities will directly influence the result of the battles. Each general has a unique personality generated at the beginning of each game, with his own appearance, character traits and abilities, all created randomly in each game. A fun and entertaining game, although it does not have an outstanding graphic section, its totally random game mechanics and events make it a great turn based strategy game.
