Frozen Synapse 2 is a turn-based tactical game in which we will lead battle squads in a vast randomly generated city, and in which we will be able to enter any building, perform missions and execute any strategy.  This is a game that is catalogued as "open world tactics", and is a combination of strategy and simultaneous combat in turns.

In single player mode, our main mission will be to defend a city from an invading force. To fulfill our mission, we must create bases, deploy your forces and then enter any building or attack a target anywhere on the map. The mechanics of the game is quite original, as when we are ready to take tactical control, the camera will zoom down, allowing us to test our strategy and tactical moves. Once the strategy is planned, and after pressing the "Prime" button, we won't be able to make any more moves and we should be waiting to see how our forces execute our plan.

The city is a living system, with many factions controlled by Artificial Intelligence competing for control and carrying out their own nefarious plans. We will be able to choose between collaborating or betraying our own, robbing banks, assassinating political leaders or establishing a delicate diplomatic agreement, the decision is ours.
